Powerpuff Z

I recently found out that the first scouters worn by Vegeta, Nappa and Raditz are pink, blue and green. Which are totally the colours that represent Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup! My mind was blown.

I felt I HAD to do something with this. Obviously DBZ is older than the Powerpuff Girls so it wasn't done on purpose. But when you realize that Nappa is equivalent to Bubbles, you gotta admit that's funny shit.

But actually while doing research for the pic (yes, I researched the Powerpuff Girls ) I discovered that in Japan, The Powerpuffs are re-animated as "Powerpuff Girls Z" in a sort of insane re-parody (since PPG was inspired by anime style shows in the first place). This was a whole 'Holy Shit WTF?!' moment all by itself so there was no question about including it.

So Vegeta and Raditz have the style of outfit worn by the Japanese Powerpuffs, Nappa gets the bona fide American Bubbles dress.

I fully intended to have Nappa's O_O face stick out the most, but I find my own eyes drawn to Raditz's confused little face more. Maybe it's just me.

But if they're the Powerpuff Girls, doesn't that make Frieza Mojo Jojo??
